February Poem 4/28
See You
Contemplating a new life wrought with disaster and disorder
At a subpar seafood place on the vernon windsor border
Across from where the video arcade was long ago
Would division bring me closure? To bleed out in the snow?
Attached to the arcade was a mini-golf place
And a go-kart track where my heart would race
But all that's left now are weeds and overgrowth
Though the building is still here, the memories I miss most
And so I stand on the docks trying to remember
Anything that's happened prior to november
But the arcade's gone and so's my spark
I'm playing possum in the face of a lurking shark
So Bill, I will attest that i'm still alive
Despite many attempts to be otherwise
Like a frog in the pot, guess i'll head back inside
Where the bread's stale but free and the fish fresh fried
Oblique Strategy of the day: Destroy -nothing -the most important thing
