A2/28- Contrived Poem: Number One
my head hurts too much for poetry today
three lectures is too much for me, apparently
five to six hours of sleep isn’t enough, they say
that’s seven times eight!
it’s about nine and i have a little under an hour to get this shower done
so i’m writing this instead
collapse into my poetic comfort zone
check off another box for the day
first person spoken word confessional
i guess that’s better than nothing
not everything has to end up how you intend
