there’s only one window in my room
well, two, but I can only get to one
and there’s a radiator right in front
so when I need some fresh air I must kneel
dirtying the air is worse, though
head bowed as if in prayer, deep inhale

exhale, throw yourself from the radiator
wave the cloud away and get on your feet
slam it shut for a few more prayers
