4- Lead Salesman
This is an open letter warning of the lead salesman
Offering lead balloons to keep me grounded
Encouraging me to reach for the sky- but not to bother jumping
"Without lead in your life, you'll feel like an empty shell
Fired off, a spent casing of your former self"
As he brandished a revolver to aptly demonstrate
He promised that his targets were painted with lead concentrate
But he coughed as he fired and began to feel quite tired
There he stumbled and promptly fell to faint.
In his boot sat the brass, wedged into the heel
Lead plated, achilles' brand new trick
I helped him up and thanked him for his spiel
And out of pity bought a single lead brick
