or half awake in a mirage?

content to stir restlessly?
content to revolve in some endless hotel doorway?
content with the illusion of sanctimony?
no rosary, rosemary
no circles or crosses
no three in a row
just more dots and boxes
smoke and mirrors, salt in circles
unnatural reflections of an eschewed self
acceptance, allowance, patience in prose
putting damnation back up on the shelf
if you're content to wander aimlessly then darling, so am i
after all
if it was all just a dream, would that make it any less meaningful?
